Book on Brazil and the Digital Lusosphere in preparation for Lexington Press

The Lexington Press, an academic publishing arm of the Rowman & Littlefield Publishing Group, Inc., has engaged a global group of scholars to prepare a book for publication in late 2017 entitled Brazil and the Emergence of a Digital Lusosphere. The book’s editor is Valnora Leister, a member of the faculty of James Madison University (Harrisonburg, Virginia USA) and former Guggenheim Fellow of the Smithsonian Institute who has written a series of papers and articles on the impact of information and communications technologies in Brazil and other Portuguese-speaking countries.  Other contributors to the volume include scholars and researchers from leading universities and institutes in Brazil, Portugal, and Lusophone countries in Africa. Rowman & Littlefield previously published The Anglosphere Challenge, by James C. Bennett (2004).
